I have used [the Fabri-Flex Straps] with a 8 yo boy who has CP. Originally, we were using K tape on forearms to achieve supination bilaterally which was working to achieve greater stability and control for grooming and self -feeding. The issue: skin breakdown due to consistent use of the tape. I used the supinator straps instead and results were fantastic! He was able to actively supinate, achieved wrist extension during fine motor tasks and controlled grasp/release using the straps. I am still amazed at how well the straps help and stayed in place! Amazing product!!

This is such a great and versatile product that provides both support and proprioceptive input and can be placed on different parts of the body. It is like a "soft Velcro", comfortable to wear.

My 8 year old patient, Kabir, has diagnoses of Microcephaly, Seizure Disorder, Diabetes Insipidus, Hypothyroidism, and Cortical Visual Impairment. He has increased tone in his arms and he tends to hold his tension there, shrugging his shoulders and pulling his arms into his chest. This makes things like dressing and bathing very challenging, and the tightness is painful for him. He loves his SPIO arm sleeves, because they help him to relax. He has less pain and is able to participate more fully with activities of daily living (like dressing and bathing), and is able to use his hands to operate toys and switches for communication and play. He and his mom say THANK YOU to SPIO for helping him!

I just wanted to let you know that I have tried all of the new SPIO orthotics, and have been very pleased with the alternatives you are offering. I see improved postural alignment in each of my patients, when the new SPIO trunk supports are applied according to their individual needs. I do feel that when applied appropriately, the SPIO does provide the sensory input that many of my patients can benefit from, especially now that you offer so many varieties of trunk support.
